Courier Insure does not collect personal information through this website. This policy explains what that means, what happens when you follow a link to our partner, and who to contact.

The short version

  • Courier Insure does not collect personal information through this website. There are no forms, accounts, quote questions or mailing lists here.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information.
  • When you choose Get started, you leave our website for MyMoneyComparison.com. Anything you enter there is collected by MyMoneyComparison.com and handled under its own privacy policy, not this one.
  • The only personal information we receive is your email address, and only if you choose to email us.
  • You can contact us or the Information Commissioner's Office if you have any concerns.

1. Who we are

  1. This policy explains how Courier Insure treats personal information in connection with the website at courier.insure (the website). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Courier Insure, Registered Company No 12947191, with its registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX.
  2. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at info@courier-fleet.co.uk.

2. We do not collect your personal information

  1. The website is an information website. It has no contact forms, quote forms, accounts, logins, newsletters or comment areas, so it does not ask for or collect your name, contact details, date of birth, driving history, vehicle details or any other personal information.
  2. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on the website, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
  3. We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal information with anyone.

3. When you follow a link to MyMoneyComparison.com

  1. Our Get started, Get a quote and similar buttons are links to MyMoneyComparison.com, a comparison service that can match you with specialist brokers. We are an affiliate of MyMoneyComparison.com.
  2. Once you follow one of those links you are on MyMoneyComparison.com's website, not ours. Any information you enter there is collected by MyMoneyComparison.com, and may be shared with the brokers it matches you with, under MyMoneyComparison.com's privacy policy and the brokers' own privacy policies. We do not receive or see that information.
  3. So that it can pay us commission, MyMoneyComparison.com may record that you arrived from our website. That record is held by MyMoneyComparison.com under its privacy policy.

4. If you email us

  1. The only personal information we receive is your email address, and only if you choose to email us at info@courier-fleet.co.uk. We also see whatever you choose to write in your message.
  2. We use your email address only to reply to you. We do not add it to any mailing list or share it with anyone. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  3. We keep emails only for as long as we need them to deal with your message and any follow-up, and then delete them. Please do not send us sensitive personal information by email.

5. Website hosting and cookies

  1. Like most websites, the website is run on servers provided by a hosting company, which may automatically keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and working. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
  2. The website may use strictly necessary cookies that it needs to work properly or securely. These do not track you or collect personal information for marketing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

7. Your rights and complaints

  1. Because we do not collect personal information through the website, we will not hold any information about you unless you have emailed us. If you have, you can ask us to tell you what we hold or to delete your email by emailing info@courier-fleet.co.uk.
  2. For information you gave MyMoneyComparison.com or a broker, please contact them directly, as they are responsible for it.
  3. If you have a concern about how we have handled personal information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

8. Changes to this policy

  1. If we ever start collecting personal information through the website, for example by adding a contact form, we will update this policy before we do. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
