The short version

  • Courier Insure is an information website and is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not arrange, advise on or sell insurance.
  • Our partner MyMoneyComparison.com is a comparison service that can match you with specialist brokers. It is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 916241).
  • We are an affiliate of MyMoneyComparison.com and may be paid a small commission if you are matched with, and speak to, a broker.
  • We do not collect personal information through this website. The only personal information we receive is your email address, if you choose to email us.
  • We are independent of every delivery company and app named on the website.

1. Our regulatory status

  1. Courier Insure is an information website about courier insurance in the United Kingdom. It is run by Courier Insure, Registered Company No 12947191, with its registered office at 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX.
  2. Courier Insure is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not arrange, advise on, recommend, sell or administer insurance, and we do not handle claims.
  3. Nothing on the website is a personal recommendation or advice. The information is general, and whether a particular policy suits you is a matter to discuss with a broker.

2. Our partner, MyMoneyComparison.com

  1. Our Get started, Get a quote and similar buttons link to MyMoneyComparison.com, a comparison service that helps consumers and businesses find competitive insurance by giving them a gateway to specialist brokers.
  2. MyMoneyComparison.com is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference number 916241.
  3. Brokers you are matched with through MyMoneyComparison.com are responsible for any advice, quotes and policies they provide. You can check any firm's authorisation on the Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk.

3. How we are paid

  1. Using the website is free, and there is no obligation to buy anything.
  2. We are an affiliate of MyMoneyComparison.com. If you follow a link from the website and are matched with, and speak to, a broker who can help find insurance for your risk, MyMoneyComparison.com may pay us a small commission.
  3. We are not paid by any insurer, broker or delivery company to feature them on the website.

4. How we keep our information fair and clear

  1. Our pages are written for UK drivers and riders and cover one type of courier work each, so the information stays specific.
  2. We do not publish prices, savings claims, star ratings or rankings, and we do not claim to search the whole insurance market.
  3. Where a page describes a delivery company's arrangements, we check its own published information where we can and word it “at the time of writing”. The delivery company's current terms always take priority.
  4. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Amazon Flex, Evri, DPD, Yodel, InPost, CitySprint, Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Just Eat or any other delivery company or app. Their names are used only to describe the type of work our pages cover.
  5. If you think something on the website is wrong or out of date, please tell us at info@courier-fleet.co.uk and we will review it.

5. Data protection

  1. Courier Insure does not collect personal information through the website. There are no forms, accounts, quote questions or mailing lists, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
  2. The only personal information we receive is your email address, and only if you choose to email us. We use it only to reply to you.
  3. Information you enter after following a link to MyMoneyComparison.com is collected by MyMoneyComparison.com and the brokers it matches you with, under their own privacy policies. Our privacy policy explains this in full.

6. Complaints

  1. If you are unhappy with the website or anything we have done, please email us at info@courier-fleet.co.uk. Tell us what happened and how we can put it right, and we will reply as soon as we can.
  2. Complaints about a quote, a policy, a claim or how a broker or insurer treated you should go to that broker or insurer first. Complaints about MyMoneyComparison.com's service should go to MyMoneyComparison.com.
  3. If you have used a broker's or insurer's complaints process and are not satisfied, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service at financial-ombudsman.org.uk.
  4. If you have a concern about how personal information has been handled, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
